Resizing Images

If you have taken pics with a new modern digital camera the pics can often top the scales at 10mb. For those of us that have no idea what than means, it would take aboubt 2 hours to download that 1 picture on a standard modem.

For this reason, we need to keep the images on the website as small as possible. Generally pics should be about 800 pixels or 8 inches across your monitor and under 50kb.

You should be able to use any image software to adjust the size. But if you do not have any software or are just don't know how to use it we have set up tow easy solutions.

Web Based Image Resizer - There is online tool at another website that will resize your images up to 5mb and make a 200 pixel thumbnail and a 600 pixel larger web ready image.

Download A Freeware program to resize images. You will also find complete instructions on how to use the program.
